Lau is one of our most inspiring coaches here at the SPEECH IMPROVEMENT COMPANY, INC. offering years of award-winning professional experience to her clients. Her speech coaching education is augmented by her formal theatre-based training offering her clients a winning combination of an innovative, energetic and insightful coaching style.

With more than 20 years experience, Lau has trained both domestic and international clients to develop confident and comfortable professional communication skills. She has presented as a keynote speaker, facilitated programs, and coached many clients individually from organizations such as Fidelity Investments, International Data Corporation, Babson Executive Education, College Coach, Monster, Linedata Corporation, Keynote, Apple Computers, International Data Group, Mass Mutual, Clark's Shoes, Harvard University, Center for Women's Entrepreneurship, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Previous faculty positions include Boston University, Bentley College, The Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and Babson College where she has been honored and consecutively awarded the prestigious Women Who Make a Difference Award for her achievements in theatre and communications.

Lau's impressive list of professional and educational accomplishments include receiving her Masters in Fine Arts Degree in Acting from The University of California, Irvine and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Bridgewater State College. Additionally, she holds membership in many prestigious organizations such as Actor's Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actor's Guild (SAG), and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
